Tropical Storm Lorena came at the end of the week, we are averaging about 1 storm a week now and once again a few days after the storm the blue water is right back up on the beach and the fish are back on the chew. Striped Marlin and Dorado are whats been in the counts in abundance. The occasional wahoo is showing up and a bite on the larger Yellowfin Tuna is starting up with the Gordo Banks and north to the San Luis bank producing and on the Pacific side the occasional Dolphin school has been producing anywhere from footballs to 100 plus pounders, Dorados have been along the beach on the Pacific side with the average fish being 4 to 8 lbs. Bigger models offshore. Water temps are in the 80’s, Blue Marlin in the counts every day now, haven’t heard of any grandes, average being 200-300lbs. ~ Capt. J
