Blue Marlin!~
Fishing has been on one day off the next. There is a good volume of fish, Dorado and Marlin, they’re just not biting daily?!~ We fished last Sat/Sunday and struggled for 2 Striped Marlin and a Dorado, Monday the gates opened up and it was wide open! Then thru the week it’s been on/off, go figure~fishing!~ The Stripers are showing up under the frigates off the lighthouse, small groups of feeders. Dorado are still on the beach though not in the volume there was. A good Wahoo bite has been going on in the early morning along the Pacific. 12 – 18 fathoms seems to be the depth. Off San Jose there is a good bite on football sized yellowfin, an occasional 100 plus pounder being caught off the dolphin schools. We caught a Blue Marlin yesterday, Striped Marlin and 2 Dorado.
