Been a great past week with weather, ocean and fish all cooperating. The Striped Marlin bite has slowed down a bit but up to 5 fish days are possible, not to shabby!~ The Dorado are on the Pacific along the beach and on the Sea of Cortez pretty much where you find them, seems the Cortez side is holding a nicer grade of fish. There has been a great bite on the Yellowfin Tuna, football size past San Jose on the Imon and San Luis banks, fish are eating the squid strips in open water. The Gordo is still producing the cow tuna for the guys who want to put in the time, I heard of a 260# coming off there this week. Most of the charter boats are going for the easy money and hitting the footballs. Blue Marlin continue to show in the counts and seems like a nicer grade of fish has moved in, I’ve heard of several fish caught over the 300 lb class!~ I hope they stick around for the October tournaments!~ Roosterfish still dominate the shore bite, been one of the best years I can remember!~ Capt.
